Malaga city, where the magic of Christmas comes alive, is a must-visit for everyone. Its Christmas celebration is a spectacular event, ranking among the best in Costa del Sol. From the enchanting Christmas light show to the vibrant Christmas markets and captivating Christmas shows, Malaga offers a festive experience like no other.

Visit the Malaga Christmas Markets

Embark on your day by exploring the charming Christmas markets scattered around Malaga. The must-visit Mercado de Navidad and Paseo de Parque, featuring numerous stalls open from 12:00 to 20:00 throughout the entire Christmas period, offer a delightful array of handmade crafts, local delicacies, and festive decorations. Don’t forget to experience the Muelle Uno Christmas market on the square in front of the Pompidou Centre, open from 10:00 to 18:00 until January 10th.

Admire the Lights

Marvel at Malaga’s breathtaking Christmas light displays by taking a stroll through the city center. The renowned Calle Larios hosts a spectacular light and sound show three times daily at 18:30, 20:00, and 22:00 between 24th of November to the 6th of January (excluding the 24th and 31st of December).

MARBELLA

Parade “Candy” and Christmas Flashmob

Marbella kicks off its celebration with the “Candy” parade at 18:30, covering various streets. The route includes Plaza Santo Cristo, c/ Ancha, c/ Peral, and more. Following the parade, enjoy a Christmas flashmob by the dance academies of Marbella city.

Inauguration of Christmas Lighting

The Christmas Lighting Inauguration on Avenue Ramon y Cajal begins at 20:30.

SAN PEDRO DE ALCANTARA

Christmas Parade and Lighting Inauguration

San Pedro de Alcantara celebrates with a Christmas Parade starting at 17:30, covering various streets. The route includes Church Square, Revilla Street, Lagasca Street, and more. 

The Christmas Lighting on Marqués del Duero Street begins at 19:30, followed by a Christmas show by the city’s dance academies.

NUEVA ANDALUCIA

Children’s Celebration at Parque Infantil

Nueva Andalucia hosts a special celebration for children at Parque Infantil, Avda Miguel de Cervantes, La Campana. The program includes a Children’s Party at 18:30 and a Magic Show at 19:00. 

The Inauguration of Christmas Lighting at 20:00. Exciting activities such as a bouncy castle, donut stand, popcorn, and candy cotton are also part of the festivities.

BENAHAVIS

Christmas Light Party

Benahavis celebrates with a Christmas Light Party featuring “Churros con Chocolate” from 17:00 to 19:00 on Avenida de Andalucía. Enjoy various attractions, including an inflatable slide, a bouncy castle, and a Christmas circuit with animals.

At 18:00, the lighting ceremony takes place, followed by Christmas carols by the Municipal Band.

The Zambomba Flamenca by Marta Álvarez and the Benahavís Flamenco dance academy entertain at 19:00.
