Withdrawal symptoms can include Increased appetite Decreased satiety Elevated blood sugar levels Weight gain Elevated blood pressure and other cardiovascular changes A study from a 2022 clinical trial that tested semaglutide treatment for weight loss found that participants had regained about two-thirds of their initial weight loss on average, and many patients also experienced raised blood pressure levels
