cintus transdierna Lifestyle Material: latexThe cintus is based on belt fittings found in the fortification of Transdierna, present day Tekija, in Serbia. These date from the second half of the 1st century AD, during the Flavian period. The original buckle is crafted from silver and forms part of the collection at the National Museum in Belgrade. The belt features two hangers for a pugio (a Roman dagger). Constructed from cowhide leather and tinned brass, the belt is well suited to a waist
