In the CY 2023 PFS final rule (87 FR 69679 through 69680), we acknowledged the need to address and clarify certain operational issues related to Medicare payment for dental services inextricably linked to covered services and noted that we were working to address these issues, including claims processing questions raised by the commenters

(1) CMS will include any revisions to the calculation of the rebate amount, if determined necessary by CMS based on the Suggestion of Error submitted under this section prior to issuance of the Rebate Report as set forth in 427.501(c) or 427.502(c) as well as any report of reconciled rebate amount as set forth in 427.501(d) or 427.502(c)(2)(ii)
